Santals

Santals are one of the aboriginal tribes of India, inhabiting Santalpargana region of the state of Jharkhand in India. The region stretches southward from the Ganges. They have been chiefly hunters, but are now settlers and agriculturists. They have been traditionally the dweller of the forest edges, are fond of music, and are sun-worshippers.
