Saradindu Bhattacharjee
Saradindu Bhattacharjee was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was born in 1906, Mekhal, Chittagong, now in Bangladesh. He was son of Bamacharan Bhattacharjee. At the age of 19, he joined Anusheelan Samity. He was arrested in connection with Bathua Action and conspiracy case on 26th February 1934, and after a trial, he was awarded 10 years prison term, and send to Andamans jail to serve the sentence. There, he participatee in second hunger strike. He was repatriated in Jaunuary 1938, and was ultimately released on 07.10.1939 with a notice not to enter Chittagong.Nearby pages
