Seraing

Seraing is a manufacturing city of Belgium, on the Meuse, 4 miles South-West of Liège. It has been noted for its extensive machine-shops (locomotives, &c.). It was established in 1817 by John Cockerill, and now, with forges, coal-mines, &c.
