Shiva Verma

Shiva Verma was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was born on 09.02.1904 at Kalauli, Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. He was son of K.L.Verma. He was a B.Sc. student at D.A.V. College, Kanpur, and during that period was an executive committee member of the H.S.R.A. and an organiser of Uttar Pradesh unit. He was arrested on 13th of May 1929 and sentenced for life and deported to the Andamans. There, he took part in both the hunger strikes. After release, he was arrested several times and remained confined in jail till 1947.
