SIR DANIEL WILSON

SIR DANIEL WILSON (1816-1892), archæologist, was born in Edinburgh, became in 1853 professor of English Literature at Toronto; wrote "Memorials of Edinburgh," "Prehistoric Annals of Scotland," "Prehistoric Man," &c.
