Sir Guyon
Sir Guyon is a knight in Edmund Spenser's "Faƫrie Queene," first published the first three parts in 1590, and then in 1596 together with parts IV-VI. He was the impersonation of temperance and self-control. He subdued the sorceress Acrasia (i. e. intemperance), and was the destroyer of her "Bower of Bliss."Nearby pages
