South West Delhi

South West Delhi is a district in the Union Territory of Delhi in India. The district is bounded in the north by West Delhi District, in the east by Central Delhi District, New Delhi District, and South Delhi District, in the south by Haryana, and in the west by Haryana. There is a very small area of the district in the south that lies in Najafgarh tahsil.

There are three tahsils in the district namely Najafgarh tahsil, Vasant Vihar tahsil, and Delhi Cantonment tahsil.

The area of the district is 421 sq km. The total populations as per census 2011 is 2,292,958. There are three statutory towns and 17 census towns in the district. Total number of villages in the district is 41.

The headquarters of the district is also the headquarters of the Vasant Vihar and Delhi Cantonment tahsils.
