Stakeholder

Stakeholder is a person or group that has an interest in, or concern for, a certain activity.

Any individual or group, can be stakeholder, who has an interest in a firm. In addition to shareholders and bondholders, it includes labour, consumers, suppliers, the local community and so on.

Stakeholder is also a person (or entity) having a vested interest in decisions affecting certain areas of his or her interest, for example, in conservation of resources.
