Tajikistan

Tajikistan or Tadzhikistan is a country in Central Asia. However, United Nations put this country in South-central Asia region. Dushanbe is its capital city. Surface area of Tajikistan is 143,100 sq km. Ruble is the currency of this country.

It was a former Soviet Republic that got independence in Dec, 1991. It is bordered by Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, and Afghanistan.
