THE AFGHANS

THE AFGHANS are a fine and noble but hot-tempered race of the Mohammedan faith inhabiting Afghanistan.

The Afghans proper are called PATHANS in India. However, they call themselves Beni Israel (sons of Israel), tracing their descent from King Saul.
