Thiruvalluvar

Thiruvalluvar (c. 2nd century) was a great saint poet of India who composed in Tamil. We little known about his life but believe that he lived in Tamil Nadu. He is known for his Thirukural or Kural, a three-part work of classical verse which form distich and deals chiefly moral, wisdom, duty, love and money.
