Ulphilas
Ulphilas (311-381), also Ulfilas, was a Gothic bishop. He evangelized the Goths, a Germanic people, originally from Scandinavia. He is famous for his translation of the Scriptures into Gothic, the part which remains being of great philological value. He was an Arian in theology.Nearby pages
