West Asia

West Asia is the western part of Asia continent. West Asia is also sometimes called the Near East or the Middle East, the part of Asia that is closest to the Mediterranean Sea.

The United Nations includes Cyprus, Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan in Western Asia.
