Wick

Wick is county-town of Caithness in Scotland, on Wick River, 161 miles North-East of Inverness. It has been the chief seat of the herring fishery in Scotland. Wick proper, with its suburbs Louisburgh and Boathaven, is on the North of the river, and Pultneytown on the South. It has a few manufactures, with distilleries and breweries.
