It may be worth mentioning that the BJP and the left were singing different tunes on floor co-ordination in the last special session of the parliament on the issue of Indo-US Nuclear deal. However, bonhomie between the two party have again resurfaced.
Meanwhile, the government sources said that the current economic crisis in India is not that extreme as it's in the United States of America and in Europe.
BJP has blamed the ruling UPA government for inept handling of economic affairs by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister P Chidambaram. The party thinks that the current mess, in which gullible investors have been cheated, is the byproduct of wrong policies of the Centre.
The left parties have said that current economic crisis is caused by anti-people policies pursued by the UPA government who made the country to following the liberal American economy.
However, the government sources maintained that all possible steps have been taken to stem any rot and more steps will be taken if needed .#
