Mr PK Sharma, Congress worker from Meerut, said that he was very happy with the change in style of campaigning adopted by Rahul Gandhi, following the advice of PK.

Mr Sharma, who attended first interactive session of Rahul Gandhi in Lucknow, was impressed by the manner in which leader was not addressing any meeting, but he was answering questions put up by ordinary party members who had gone to attend the programme at Ramabai Sthal in Lucknow.

According to Sharma, who had come all the way from Meerut, he had not seen such a huge turnout of party workers at any meeting of the party in the past two decades.

Sharma said that Rahul Gandhi was walking on the ramp and was answering all the questions put up by party workers. The interactive style of Rahul Gandhi brought party workers closer to their leader.

Similarly, current Khatpanchayat of Rahul Gandhi among farmers, has also enthused party workers in the area covered by the Congress vice-president so far.

Congress workers feel that their leader is far closer to them and he was listening to them more, rather then delivering speech and going back to Delhi. The new avatar of Rahul Gandhi to sit on a khat (cot) with farmers and interact with them has sent good message to party workers their leader was more concerned with the peoples’ problems.

Hamid Ali – a motor mechanic – said that hundreds of party workers like were happy that Rahul Gandhi decided to touch upon the basic issues of farmers like clearing all loans, bringing power bill to half and good support price for their produce.

Congress workers are also happy with PK and his team for connecting with all party leaders and grassroot workers who were feeling neglected for more then two decades.

Rajesh Pande, who is based in Lucknow but belongs to political family of Baadhoi, and whose father too had been minister, was feeling neglected past few years. Although he was looking after the families of freedom fighters, but there was no recognition at party level.

He was happy when he received message from Prasant Kishor that he should meet him. After a meeting with PK, Rajesh Pande was changed man who started praising Rahul Gandhi and Congress, thanks to PK.

Rajesh Pande is so charged after two meetings with PK and his team that he giving more time to get connected the families of freedom fighters with the party in view of Mission 2017. “Never before Congress workers were approached by party high command which forced them either to sit back at home or join other parties,” said Rajesh Pande.

“After meeting with PK and his team, I am now devoted full time to the party and its programmes because after so many years my efforts were recognized”, observed Pande.

So much so, senior leaders like Moid Ahmad, who had been minister and MLA several times, were neglected and had almost retired from politics. But he was surprised when he received a phone call from team PK to get reconnected with the party and its programmes for Mission 2017.

Similarly, veteran leader Ammer Haider also said that he too was approached by PK’s team to get connected with the party and its CM face Sheila Dikshit.

Ameer Haider said that the huge turn out of party workers at the road show of Mrs Sonia Gandhi at Varanasi was a grand success as Team PK had mobilized party workers in the Lok Sabha constituency of PM Modi. The unprecedented turn out at Sonia’s road show unnerved BJP leaders in the VIP constituency.

Dr KVS Kaushal, who was leading a retired life in Agra, was surprised when he was contacted. He said that he was happy when Team PK approached him and offered an important position in the organization. Kaushal said that that he was happy that his services were recognized and he would work sincerely for the party.

Similarly, Mr Satyadeo Tripathi who is in-charge of media cell of the party, said that with the change in style of interaction by Rahul Gandhi and Team PK getting in touch with all the party workers, it has boosted the morale. Exuding confidence based on change in style of his leader and mass interaction of PK’s team with the party workers, Mr Satyadeo Tripathi said that his party would score big win in 2017 assembly polls.
