With the mischievous role of hindu right wing extremist group coming to the fore in the malegaon attack, NDA partners increasingly feeling the heat of political backlash. It is mainly because the miscreants have close links with the top leadership of the BJP.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Janta Dal Chief , Sharad Yadav met incamera in the capital and discuss the malegaon development to find out the ways and means to handle the issue.
Meanwhile, Janta Dal, Chief Sharad Yadav has said that the probe into the malegaon incident is still on and party have not taken any final call on the issue.
However, the party leader feels if party doesn't take any proper action, it can face backlash among muslim legislators which can easily upset the political equation inside the party organization in the first place. It may impact overall performance of the party in the political arena too.
It is worth mentioning here that the Janta Dal leaders were unhappy with the BJP leaders during Amarnath Shrine Board row in Jammu and more recently during Kandhamal agitation in Orissa.
Infact, the muslim legislative members of the party are also questioning the secular credential of the Janata Dal.
In the give scenario, JD leaders fear if party doesn't take any corrective measure, Rashtriya Janta Dal President, Lalu Prasad Yadav can exploit the issue in the coming general election to the Lok Sabha.
On the other hand, BJP leadership is burning midnight oil pacifying its partners urging them not to take any hasty decision on the alliance issue as it could trigger chain reaction among the partners and can derail unity of the NDA.#
