Women’s Trap has seen 71 entries across the senior and junior categories. Varsha Varman of Madhya Pradesh is the women’s defending champion in the event while Soumya Gupta of Delhi won the junior women’s competition in the previous edition.
Several top names including the likes of Shreyasi Singh, Seema Tomar, Manavjit Singh Sandhu, Kynan Chenai, Prithviraj Tondaiman, Angad Bajwa and Mairaj Ahmad Khan are expected take part in the fortnight long competition.

New Delhi: Around 585 shooters representing 58 state associations, union territories and institutional teams will be seen in action in the 63rdNational Shooting Championship Competition scheduled to begin with the Women’s Trap qualification rounds at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range (KSSR) here on Sunday.
