Mr Mukherjee was replying to a questions asked by this correspondent here today.
It may be mentioned here that there were rumours doing rounds in the national capital that India may resort to military actions against its neighbour. Rumours derived weightage due to the fact that the Pakistan based terrorist outfit, Lashkar - e -Toiba had attacked the commercial capital of India, Mumbai, on Nov 26 in which 187 innocent people including 7 foreign nationals were killed and around 300 people were injured.
Meanwhile, Arab league Secretary General Mr Mousa who is in the capital for signing India-Arab Cooperation Forum has also condemned the gruesome terrorist attack on Mumbai and termed it an act of ``heinous'' crime against mankind.
However, public sentiment against the UPA government's inaction against Pakistan is fast gaining momentum.#
