The Sikh tradition of serving food in a lunger, free of costs, to all hungry pilgrims to the Gurudwara was known but not recognized outside though the Sikh community never made distinction of religion of visitors. All who took plate were served simple food. Many doubted whether the mass quantum of food cooking would ensure the quality and hygienic conditions. Many shunned even taking Karva Prasad lest it may contaminate them.

Even the Brazil President sought to appeal to the religious sentiments to seek free quantum of anti disease medicine in fight again the infectious corona virus. The Indian Prime Minister was meanwhile engaged to prove to his fan club as well as his mentors that superstition cannot cure modern or ancient diseases. It demands the harsh decisions. The public confidence is needed to endure success. The low fatality rate may be due to the geographic location of India.
