Mayawati repeatedly said that Kannauj MP Subrata Tripathi barged into the residence of tehsildar of Sadar area Arvind Kumar and beat him up for not providing ration on the basis of list prepared by the MP.
BSP national president said Dalit officers all over the state were upset because no action was taken against BJP who beat up daily official Kumar. Mayawati repeatedly said in her tweets that Dalit officials all over the state were upset that no action was taken against BJP MP. BSP leader maintains that it was very shameful.
It may be mentioned that Arvind Kumar mentioned in his police complaint that he was thrashed up by Subrata Tripathi when he was busy making arrangements for ration for needy persons.
Mayawati also raised her voice against caste discrimination at school in Ballia. BSP national president alleged that small children belonging to Dalit community in a Rampur school were made to bring their own dishes and were made to sit separately.
The school authorities maintained that daily students brought their own plates and had to sit separately. It was pointed out that fearing action from upper castes, the Dalit students resorted to that tactic.
Mayawati said that it was the duty of the state government to take action against officials of schools to safeguard the interests Dalit students.
It would be worth mentioning here that UP chief minister Yogi Aditynath personally spoke to BSP national president Mayawati for extending cooperation from her party MPs and MLAs to fight against coronavirus and help the government. (IPA Service)
