Now, still gunning for NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede, Nawab Malik has trained gun on ex-Maharashtra chief Minister DevendraFadnavis, who he says is “kingpin” of the Mumbai drug mafia and heads a narcotics ring along with a couple of really bad dudes, one a full-bearded pirate with not a single hair on his shaven pate!
Nawab Malik, whose son-in-law was arrested on charges of drug peddling by Sameer Wankhede, says Fadnavis is underling of a fellow called JaideepRanade, who too, according to Nawab Malik, is a narcotics user and drug kingpin. The NCP minister, who seems to have the intuitive investigative powers of Sherlock Holmes, held a presser and distributed photographs of DevendraFadnavis and his wife in the same frame as JaideepRanade.
Fadnavis couldn’t believe his eyes and now the Maharashtra ex-Chief Minister is promising retaliation post-Diwali when he says he’ll give proof, photographic evidence of Nawab Malik’s dalliances with the “underworld”. The Mumbaikar, for whom the “underworld” is neither Mars nor the underworld figures Martians, NawabMalik is the distraction provider on a lean day. He had started with Sameer Wankhede and NCB, but now has scaled up to Fadnavis and BJP.
In a way it is welcome diversion for Aryan Khan s/o Shahrukh Khan, who for all purposes is out of one prison into another prison, burdened as the “boy” is with so many bail conditions that if he doesn’t take care he could sink to the bottom of the deep-end of Mannat’s in-house swimming pool. Aryan Khan could do with some Nawabisms at this time of recovery.
Aryan Khan is otherwise a lucky son-of-a-gun. Hardboiled lawyers in black frocks know that the “boy wonder” got preference treatment. Thousands of similarly framed are under-trials in India’s prison cells and for them there is no MukulRohtagi or Amit Desai and SatishManeshinde pleading for their release. Aryan Khan is being made out as a “wronged Prince” by mainstream media, the title “druggie” sitting lightly on his privileged entitled head.
To Nawab Malik, the pursuer of criminals and harbinger of bad news for NCB and BJP, Aryan Khan is pure driven snow and Bollywood oasis of the innocent. The NCP leader speaks in earnest voice and hangs wrongdoers with words made of beads of wisdom.
Nawab Malik is nowadays hero of the left-liberal and anti-BJP, his daily lampoons of Sameer Wankhede vying with the legends of Ali Baba and Alauddin. From the looks of it, before long Nawab Malik will straightforward become poster-boy of the Opposition. He has not just the people of India drugged, even opposition bigwigs seem to be in cahoots with his clarion call to cleanse the political spectrum of “BJP nashedis”.
Till the other day it was Shahrukh Khan whose name recognition was the benchmark. Now Malik is the Nawab of name recognition. DevendraFadnavis seemed more amused than perturbed after Nawab went to town with his allegations against Fadnavis. The BJP leader said everything against Nawab Malik except saying that Malik hasn’t found his lost marbles!
Mr. Fadnavisi is in the bad books of Nawab Malik because he sang the ‘River Song’ with the drug peddler, which Fadnavis says is a crock of bull*#t because much water has flown down the river in the three years since the video was uploaded. Apparently Fadnavis has been washed off all sins and Nawab Malik has to wait till after Diwali to be declared Public Enemy No.1 a la Al Capone!
To conclude whoever thought Dilli had wrested the crime capital crown from Mumbai can think again. Truly, with SachinVaze and Parambir Singh around, Mumbai doesn’t need the likes of Dawood Ibrahim and ChottaShakeel. Nawab Malik is a raconteur of rare talent and his “stories” should be bound in hardcover and sold tax-free in the chor bazaars of Bharat, Hindustan! (IPA Service)
FOR MUMBAI UNDERWORLD, EVERYONE IS ABOVE BOARD
NAWAB MALIK IN A NEW POSTER-BOY ROLE
Sushil Kutty - 2021-11-01 10:34
Nawab Malik is a household name. The NCP minister in Uddhav Thackeray’s cabinet is a tireless pursuer of criminals and those who convert religions to consummate marriages with “mashukas”; who allegedly use caste labels to con jobs in the Indian Revenue Service. Nawab Malik’s own son-in-law is not beyond reproach, but Nawab Malik doesn’t care who he hurts, the crusader that he is. Nawab Malik is Arjun, one of his eyes focused on the eye of the fish.
