Based on current political ground reality, as we have seen recently in Karnataka Vidhan Sabha election, exposing PM Modi and his government at the Centre could still prove to be the most effective weapon in the hands of INDIA alliance, and may form the core of their campaign against the ruling establishment. It holds good even on corruption which was an important issue during Karnataka election campaign. RSS-BJP clan alleged Congress the most corrupt party and the Congress alleged the BJP led double engine government the most corrupt. It finally went against the BJP since Congress sufficiently and convincingly unmasked them.
Therefore, unmasking PM Modi may be allowed to be the core campaign point by the India alliance partners without any diversion which PM Modi would like to bring into the political battle, such as we have seen in the cases of 'one nation - one election', one law, and so on. Multiple strategies could be adopted by the INDIA alliance, but exposing the real intentions behind such moves must form the core of the campaign so that unsuspecting common people could clearly understand the issues and then exercise their right to vote as informed citizen, but not as confused and enticed into vote.
PM Modi led government deserves to be exposed not only for its corruption, but also for its involvement in subversion of the entire economy of the country to the maximum benefit of the select few, at a time when people are suffering on account of availability and affordability of food articles, health facilities, insurmountable hurdles to access education, lack of opportunity for employment, and injustices inflicted on people through communal and social suppression leading to conflict, unrest and large scale losses of lives and properties.
Exposing RSS-BJP clan and the PM Modi and Company for mishandling the country and driving its people to destruction needs to be exposed along with their assault on the very character and values of the Republic of India by pursuing majoritarian Hindu nationalist agenda, polarizing and hardening society on communal lines, and undermining democracy and federal structure of the country.
Needless to say, INDIA alliance needs much stronger and credible alternate narrative than it has today as against the RSS-BJP narrative and the dream PM Modi has been trying to sell to unsuspecting common people. The narrative must by based on secular democracy, equitable economy, social justice and federalism.
The narrative must address the concern of the unemployed youth and all the marginalised sections of the society including women, Dalits, minorities, farmers, and workers. Right to food, right to health, right to education, and social security coverage to all needs to assured and guaranteed.
As for foreign affairs and the security of India, the INDIA alliance must expose the gambles of PM Modi led government and the attendant risks thereby. India is on sale for both domestic and international big economic players in the name of growth and development against the interest of the common people, but for the benefit of the chosen few in the private sector.
It must be exposed as to how India is driven with an international policy that put the sovereignty of the country at risk. The policies being adopted is driving the country on the fast lane to a conflict scenario not only with our neighbours but also with other countries and international groupings.
INDIA alliance is likely to focus on worsening cost of living crisis, unprecedented unemployment level, misuse of power through central investigation agencies against the political parties in opposition and their leaders or anyone else who happen to be critic of the Modi government which includes journalists, rising social and economic inequality, and appeasement of the majority. It may be of some use, but it also needs to offer something concrete for the common people.
A clear blue-print to arrest the predicaments of the people is required and also a clear roadmap to achieve it. INDIA alliance must take note of the fact that for the common people of India the six important issues at this time are: protection of life and liberty from communal onslaught, availability of food, access to affordable healthcare, opportunities for jobs, removing hurdles to education, and assuring social and economic justice.
People are keenly watching the political developments in the country, and waiting for a concrete alternative roadmap to ensure peace and prosperity in place of highhandedness of the authoritarian regime led by PM Modi. India is under political phase of transition in between ‘communal-Hindutva- majoritarian-authoritarian’ and ‘secular-inclusive-democratic-federal’ politics. Lok Sabha election 2024 is therefore going to be historically important for the country. (IPA Service)
UNMASKING BJP GOVT AT CENTRE AND STATES SHOULD BE THE CORE OF INDIA ALLIANCE CAMPAIGN
THE BLOCK MUST GUARANTEE FOOD, HEALTH, EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, AND JUSTICE FOR ALL

As India reaches closer to the Lok Sabha election 2024, the issues and campaign points are undergoing intermittent change. Political moves and counter-moves of PM Narendra Modi and the INDIA alliance are the chief causes behind it, making the country’s future politically uncertain. If PM Modi finds it an appropriate strategy to discredit opposition parties and their leaders on all issues concerning people, INDIA alliance's best defense and attack strategy is to unmask the real Modi hiding behind Hindutva.
