“Vladimir Putin appeared unfazed” was the fairest assessment made of the Russian President’s reaction to Biden calling him a crazy son of a dog. For, even among the community of canines, “children” are taken seriously and their parents even more so. Neither mom nor dad deserve insult.

Ultimately, though, it showed Putin was savvy and he understood Biden better than Biden understood Putin. Definitely, the two should have understood each other more than Donald Trump could get under their skins. Trump drives Biden crazy and for all we know the current White House occupant must have called Trump “crazy SOB”, and not Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

Anything can happen, when it’s known to every Russian that Joe Biden’s cognitive faculties have been missing strength ever since Joe and Jill took up residence in the White House. Ask, and Joe wouldn’t remember who he called “Crazy SOB”? Could be himself when walking past any one of the legion of White House mirrors.

More believable would be Joe Biden calling Donald Trump both mad and the son of a cunning and calculating K9. On his part, Putin kept the dogs of war leashed. That is why the Russian President should and can be trusted with the nuclear button.

The Americans will have to worry about Joe Biden with his nuclear button. The moment after Biden loses his mind and Putin his cool, all will be over and nothing will ever be good for anything to be over. The earth as we know will cease to exist.

That’s the Armageddon earthlings are in for if either of these two “crazy SOB” go off the bend. Thankfully, after his political rivals had been getting their pennies pinched, President Vladimir Putin had the savvy to accept Biden’s “crazy SOB” insult as an “adequate reaction” — and if Biden heard, he didn’t respond. Maybe Biden’s minders had had enough.

But Putin, like many concerned global citizens, including those who carry American passports, believes Biden is pissed off because the Russian President had picked "Joe Biden for President" over the alternative “Donald Trump for President".

“Judging by what he has just said, I was absolutely right because it’s an adequate reaction to my remark,” Putin told ‘Rossiya 1’ state TV, the day after Biden said in San Francisco, “We have a crazy SOB like that guy Putin, and others, and we always have to worry about nuclear conflict, but the existential threat to humanity is climate.”

That should have disturbed the weather in Moscow’, even the climate of the entire Russia – minus, of course, that of Ukraine, which the “crazy SOB” thinks Russia owns – but Putin brushed it away and told ‘Rossiya 1’, “He can’t tell me, ‘Volodya, well done, thanks, you helped me a lot.’ … This reaction is absolutely adequate.”

For those who don’t know, ‘Volodya’ means “Great Ruler” and Putin was referring to himself when he spelled out the fine-print. As for what’s best for Russia, Putin smiled, “I’ve said it once and can repeat: Biden.” To add insult to injury, he had told US commentator Tucker Carlson that he “couldn’t remember the last time he spoke with Biden, guessing it must have been before Russia’s February 2022 invasion of Ukraine.”

In Putin’s 71-year-old fertile mind, he had a “personal relationship” with the 77-year-old Donald Trump, but he considered the 81-year-old Joe Biden an “old-school politician” and, therefore, the best-fit for Russia.

Come to think of it, Joe Biden calling Vladimir Putin the vilest of names hasn’t changed Putin’s preference and tolerance for Biden over Trump. In 2021, at the height of the Covid 19, President Joe Biden called President Vladimir Putin a “killer” and Putin tested Biden’s killer-funny bone with the repartee, “It takes one to know one.”

As usual there was no response and President Joe Biden was back in the Land of the Nod. This time, too, a few reports say Putin called Biden’s “crazy SOB” remark as “rude” but is okay with it because President Joe Biden’s affinity for sons and daughters of K9s is known worldwide.

Also, President Joe Biden shouldn’t forget that Americans have more dogs for pets than Russians have nukes for strikes and drops and not every world leader is a Putin — try calling China’s Xi Jinping or North Korea's Kim Jong Un “Crazy SOB” and watch the television screens turn grainy. (IPA Service)
