Gone are the days of the 56" chest. These are the days of Modi Ghibli, not 'jubilee', but Ghibli, which is a Japanese art. Unemployed youth can indulge in Ghibli and forget joblessness! The strangely mesmerizing Ghibli pics of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are a wonder of the modern AI world!
PM Modi took part in the Studio Ghibli trend. The rest was left to the Government of India (GoI). GoI proudly posted the pics. The GoI serves the Prime Minister in many, many manners. Prime Minister Modi's publicity tops the list of the GoI's chores. Forget allegations of a kind of money laundering that doesn't interest the Enforcement Directorate.
The GoI can't just be hauled up for wasting India's resources in pandering to the Prime Minister's vanities. The Prime Minister is the national and international face of the GoI. On Friday there was no shattering earthquake with an epicentre in India for the GoI to get all roused up. The day started with sunup and the day came to a close with sundown. Just another day in the office!
There was no national emergency. It was perfect for Prime Minister Modi to join forces with US President Donald J. Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron, three of the most photogenic faces on the planet, for a Ghibli shoot. The GoI, for the sake of public interest, lifted the veil of secrecy over Prime Minister Modi's glowing face.
We're the fifth largest economy on our way to becoming the third largest economy and barring 18-20% extremely poor, the rest of us can achieve a glowing skin and a healthy mein. Prime Minister Modi has left all previous prime ministers including the legendary first prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, in the cold. Narendra Damordas Modi works 18 hours a day and still finds time to bottle-feed tiger cubs!
Then, when the cubs have had their fill, Modi gets down to work on a number of chores in public interest. He still manages to squeeze precious time out of a busy schedule to “take part in (the) Studio Ghibli trend”, giving a boost to the AI-generated art with its “stunning and dreamlike images”.
The Ghibli-style images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump are the latest images for the world to gape at, the duo's friendship immortalized. Don't ask why should the Union government be involved in the aggrandizement of Modi? All prime ministers hogged entitlement, maybe Prime Minister Narendra Modi a few too many.
The question is should the GoI have released the Studio Ghibli-style AI-generated portraits of Prime Minister Modi and while doing that, gone to the extent of stating, "Main character? No. He's the whole storyline. Experience through New India in Studio Ghibli strokes, PM Modi Takes Part In Studio Ghibli Trend, Posts Pics With Trump, Macron"?
Hubris? 'Chamchagiri at its parakashta'. Modi is after all Prime Minister of India, three times over, the third time with a lower mandate but a mandate, still! The Modi government did a great service by releasing the series of Studio Ghibli-style portraits of Narendra Modi, adding another layer of invincibility to the Modi Cult. In all 12 Ghibli-style portraits of "Mr Modi" were shared by the GoI.
That included a Ghibli-style recreation of the Prime Minister's meetings with President Donald Trump and President Emmanuel Macron. There was also a Ghibli-style version of Modi with the Tricolour, Modi in an Indian Army uniform, Modi with the 'Sengol', and Modi in front of Ram Lalla in the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
One was a Ghibli of Modi next to a Vande Bharat, another of "a sortie on a Tejas Twin Seat Light Combat Fighter aircraft in 2023, a third of his visit to the Maldives besides one of Modi taking part in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. In one sentence, Modi-Ghibli-fied told the "whole storyline" of India that is Bharat under Prime Minister Narendra Modi in pastel and muted colour palettes with elaborate details. In one word "Stunning!" (IPA Service)
