The Government has sanctioned Rs. 52.40 Crore for the scheme. Rs. 25.50 Crore was released to the State governments which have utilised Rs. 17.78 Crore.
This was stated by the Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Shri Gurudas Kamat in written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha today.

13 Counter Insurgency and Anti-Terrorism Schools set up

New Delhi: It has been decided to set up 20 counter Insurgency and Anti terrorist Schools (CIATs) in the states of Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Orissa, Manipur, Nagaland, West Bengal and Tripura. Out of these, 13 Schools have already been set up and are functional.
