The injured were brought in a special French military flight.
They were transferred straight from the Air Force Station to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where arrangements had been made in advance by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to keep them under medical supervision.
A team of doctors and para medics from AIIMS was present at the airport and ensured their smooth transfer from the airport to the hospital.
MEA officials have visited the patients and discussed their status with the doctors.
According to medical sources, some of the six injured are expected to be discharged in a day or two, while the remaining may be required to spend some more time at the hospital.
None of them is reported to be facing any serious medical issue at this stage.
