Rather, this move is aimed at undermining confidence in the legitimacy of the results should Trump lose on November 3rd and, further, to sabotage efforts to expand vote-by-mail. This is a full-frontal assault on American democracy which must be blocked by a landslide vote against the Republican Party on Election Day.

The results of a nationwide economic survey in Pakistan, undertaken by IPSOS, Europe’s leading market research outfit indicate that the net job loss in the country due to pandemic, is feared to surpass substantially the estimate by the ministry of planning, worked out in April this year, between 12.3 million and 18.5 million people. The loss to economy is put anywhere between Rs2 trillion and Rs2.5 trillion in just three months, assuming “moderate to severe shocks from the coronavirus outbreak”. In monetary terms, the three-month wage loses will translate in to Rs.66 billion.
