K Raveendran - 2021-06-19 11:50
The Narendra Modi government is back with its diabolical game on fuel prices. With crucial assembly elections on the way, including the all-important UP poll, alibis are being found to warrant a political intervention and arrest the continuous spike in petrol and diesel prices, conveniently blamed on ‘international’ prices. The government has been consistently doing this: a political intervention to hold the prices until the elections are over and then giving back to the retailing companies the right to fix the prices within 24 hours.

As per the reports the Sputnik vaccine on its arrival will be first given to Apollo Hospital. Whether it will be inoculated free of cost or will be paid has not been made clear by the government. It is understandable that the production of vaccine against COVID-19 was not an easy task. But the hard work by the scientists around the globe made it happen. Normally it takes five years plus to prepare a vaccine but because of urgency during the pandemic it had to be made in less than one year.

REMOVAL OF SEDITION RELATED 124A OF IPC FROM INDIAN STATUTE IS IMPERATIVE

MODI GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN MISUSING THE LAW TO CURB DEMOCRATIC DISSENT
Binoy Viswam - 2021-06-18 11:51
Ever since RSS led BJP has come to power, the democratic spirit of the Constitution has been constantly under attack. In fact democracy itself and its impeccable values are grossly threatened by the managers of state power. In the name of patriotism, attempts have been made to imbibe a totally different variant that has no concern for the masses and have, in return, no love from them. For them, dissent is depicted as a crime and the term anti national has elaborately been used to unleash attack on each one who dared to come in the way of 'Hindutva'.
