The last few years have been intense with people all over the country joining hands to protest anti-people policies of the BJP-RSS combine. Whether it was the faulty economic policies of the government or the abrogation of Article 370, reasoned and concerned people have protested. Even right now, people from all parts of this great country, from all walks of life, especially students, are stepping out to resist the fascist assault on the foundational values of our republic. People are out on streets against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and against the brutal attack on JNU students and faculty. While doing this, people are asserting their right to protest, resist and dissent which are essential for the functioning of any democracy.
