The INDI-Alliance has to win 2024 general elections, especially Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's “mitti mein mila doonga” mission is death-dealing. The BJP is going after the gangster-culture holding up the Samajwadi Party superstructure with vengeance with damaging results for the entire opposition ecosystem.

Dr. Gyan Pathak - 2024-03-28 11:11
India’s youth have lost a decade. They trusted Narendra Modi’s promise made during election campaign in 2014 to provide “work with dignity for every hand”, but now after a decade on the eve of Lok Sabha General Election 2024, they find themselves simply misled by a decade of PM Narendra Modi’s bluff, which has just been exposed by the India Employment Report 2024 jointly published by International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Institute for Human Development (IHD). Youth now constitute 83 per cent of the jobless in India, and growth is not employment-intensive.

ARVIND KEJRIWAL’S ARREST POSES A BIG THREAT TO PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY IN INDIA

COUNTRY WIDE MASSIVE PROTESTS HAVE TO BE ORGANISED TO DEFEND DEMOCRACY
P. Sudhir - 2024-03-28 11:08
The arrest and detention of Arvind Kejriwal, chief minister of Delhi, by the Enforcement Directorate is a turning point in the steady erosion of democracy in India. This brazen assault on the democratic system is a first in many respects. It is the first time a sitting chief minister whose party commands more than four-fifth majority in the assembly has been arrested, for the first time the head of a national political party has been put behind bars. And this is the very first time that such an arrest has been affected after the announcement of the Lok Sabha election and the model code of conduct has come into force.

Waking up to news that "the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance is on the verge of collapse" over seat distribution for the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra and it is a familiar dirge heard ever since Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray's path-breaking son Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray cut loose from his father's legacy to cut a pact with the Hindutva-hating secular parties, the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party.
