We are a country of hungry people and our children bear the brunt. There are among them those who are denied food for days. Simultaneously, there are no jobs, no earnings, and the shadows are getting darker. Living with zero-resources, the only dream we have is that of food. A new study has estimated India’s zero-food children account for 19.3 percent, the third highest after Guinea’s 21.8 percent and Mali’s 20.5 percent.
