New York: A premature withdrawal of national economic stimulus packages could delay a jobs recovery boon for years and throw 40 million more people worldwide on to welfare, a new United Nations report warned.

The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has completed the fifth review of the Central African Republic's economic performance under a program supported by the arrangement under the Poverty Reduction and Growth Facility (PRGF) for an amount equivalent to SDR 69.62 million (about US$112.21 million). Completion of the review enables the disbursement of an amount equivalent to SDR 11.455 million (about US$18.46 million).

New Delhi: The 2nd India Africa Hydrocarbons Conference got off to a business-like start here today with India's Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister, Mr. Murli Deora, declaring the intent of Indian companies to source LNG as well as equity participation in existing and upcoming LNG terminals in Africa.

Natural lakes on the earth are generally found in mountainous areas, rift zones and areas with ongoing or recent glaciations. Other lakes are found in endorheic basins or along the course of rivers. As far as these lakes are concerned they are both natural and man made.
