World Bank Supports Cadastre and Land Policy Reforms in FYR Macedonia

WASHINGTON ― The World Bank has approved US$12.1 million of Additional Financing for the FYR Macedonia Real Estate Cadastre and Registration Project (RECRP). The Additional Financing will help the government continue its reforms in real estate cadastre and build on the excellent results achieved.

BHOPAL: It was not that anybody was under any illusion vis-a-vis the status of Dalits in the society in Madhya Pradesh but it still came as a shock when a local English daily reported that Dalits were not allowed to enter the temples or draw water from the public wells and ponds in the Chief Minister's ancestral village. The official machinery got cracking and managed to extract a denial from the Dalits of the village that they were not subjected to any discrimination. But the proverbial cat was out of the bag.
