35 districts identified for Rural Business Hubs (RBH)

New Delhi: The Ministry of Panchayati Raj has identified 35 districts for focused Rural Business Hubs (RBH) intervention in consultation with State Governments. Services of repeated organizations have been enlisted in Gateway Agencies for supporting Panchayats in identification of potential RBHs and their development.

Economic recovery is likely to be very slow in Grenada

Grenada has been hit hard by the global economic slowdown with the two mainstays of the economy - tourism and foreign direct investment (FDI) - weakening significantly. Real gross domestic product is estimated to have declined by 7.7 percent in 2009, after 2.2 percent growth in 2008. Tourism dropped by about 13 percent year-on-year and FDI-related construction is estimated to have contracted by about 50 percent for the year, although the pace of decline slowed in the last quarter of 2009, reflecting an uptick in FDI inflows. Prices fell by 2.4 percent in the 12 months to December 2009, reflecting weak domestic demand and lower international food and fuel prices.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission has reached a staff-level agreement with the Mongolian authorities on the conclusion of the fourth review under the SBA on the basis of the authorities' continuing strong policy performance. IMF Executive Board is expected to consider the fourth review in the coming weeks. If the Board approves the completion of the review, the next disbursement under the program would be released to Mongolia in an amount of SDR 15.33 million (about US$24 million).

There is no denying the fact that the students are future of the civilization and teachers are responsible to give student the right direction. It is also true that the quality of education our teachers are giving to our students are generally in wrong direction which makes students money and power hungry but not a man of good character. This evil is there, but it is not the way to attack teachers and students, ideologically and physically, for nefarious ends. We must protect them to save our future. There must be enhanced international efforts for their protection since attacks are increasing all over the world.
