Enough signals are there at home and from abroad that India would start unwinding its fiscal stimulus, though cautiously, with the Union Budget for 2010-11 that Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will present to Parliament on February 26. Whatever the concessions which may stand extended for a while for sectors like labour-intensive exports, the Budget is expected to begin roll-back of a major part of the fiscal stimulus related to cuts in Union excise and Service taxes.
