Examination Reforms begin in the Staff Selection Commission

New Delhi: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be holding the COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAMINATION, 2010. This will mark the commencement of Examination Reforms in the Commission. For the first time, Staff Selection Commission will also be introducing ON-Line Application this examination with the facility of payment of application fee through State Bank of India, either through Challan or on-line payment.

Consensus among parties is necessary for the success of future negotiations, according to the Executive Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Yvo de Boer.

IMF approved Mali's request for a modification of performance criteria

The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) completed the second review of Mali's economic performance under a program supported by the Extended Credit Facility (ECF). The Board's decision allows the government to request a further disbursement amounting to SDR 2 million (about US$3.1 million), which would bring total disbursements to Mali to SDR 21.99 million (about US$34.1 million). Mali's request for a modification of performance criteria related to the domestic financing of the budget for end-December 2009 was also approved.
