India is among the worst countries in the world where children are facing severe child food poverty, the latest UNICEF data reveals. Severe child food poverty is reaching dire levels, 1 in 3 children under five live in it globally, but in 13 countries, situation was worse with more than 2 in 5. India was one of 13 in 2021 where the level of child food poverty was above 40 per cent.
