AFGHANISTAN UNDER TALIBAN 2.0 REELS UNDER A FAMINE LIKE SITUATION

LITTLE FOOD STOCKS, FEAR OF BLACK-OUT HAUNT CITIZENS IN EVERY REGION
Sankar Ray - 2021-10-28 10:56
Afghanistan is now in a penumbra of bloody uncertainty which the Taliban 2.0 is too myopic and strategically incapable to overcome. As a result, Kabul, the capital of war-torn country, is fast turning into something utterly beyond recognition. The vibrant nightlife and arts scene of Kabul before the Taliban had swept to power in Afghanistan is now in a nightmare that does not know where it will end up to. Apparently, a radical transformation sans any semblance of human touch takes place there with thousands of longtime Taliban fighters, having poured into Kabul , working in round-the-clock security patrols.

‘NET-ZERO’ IS BOTH A SOLUTION AND A TRAP

INDIA’S CRITICISM MUST BE SEEN IN RIGHT PERSPECTIVE
Dr. Gyan Pathak - 2021-10-28 10:50
Scientific ‘net-zero’ is a solution to the overheating of the earth and hence any criticism cannot be sustainable. However, nobody should be allowed to use it as a trap against any nation. The Emissions Gap Report 2021 released just a few days ahead of COP26 should be an eye opener for all that has pinpointed the vagueness and deception underlying the already announced ‘net-zero’. When India says net-zero is ‘not a solution itself’ it does not criticize or reject the scientific ‘net-zero’ but the ‘climate injustice’ the whole world has been subjected to since the industrial revolution after 1850s.

CORPORATISATION OF 41 ORDNANCE FACTORIES BY CENTRE IS A HISTORIC BLUNDER

ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT SLOGAN OF MODI HAS BEEN TURNED INTO A BIG JOKE
C. Srikumar - 2021-10-28 10:47
The role played by the 41 Ordnance Factories as a government of India departmental defence industry for the security and defence preparedness of our country was immense, though went unnoticed. But for them, it would have been impossible for the Indian Armed Forces to have won the Indo-Pak War of 1965, Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971 and the Kargil War of 1999. Unfortunately, the present government not only failed in recognising their services, but also undermined the very existence of these 41 Ordnance Factories as a composite organisation with its unilateral decisions.

UNSAVOURY GLOATING OVER ONE BILLION VACCINATION UNDER NARENDRA MODI

CENTRE HESITATED ALL THROUGH IN AVERTING FREE DOSES TO THE CITIZENS
Binoy Viswam - 2021-10-28 10:43
All of a sudden, the government has become science-oriented. They dramatically became advocates of vaccination. Distribution of 100 crores of vaccines became their precious campaign point. Even the mobile ringtones have been tuned in such a way to propagate the glory of 100 crores. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his typical style claimed that the war against Covid-19 has been successfully waged and India has become the centre of attraction for the rest of the world. A close watch of this vaccine celebration would spell out the propaganda skills of the parivar government. They try to project the self-proclaimed viswa guru image of Narendra Modi.
