PM NARENDRA MODI’S POLITICAL WORTH IS ONCE AGAIN AT STAKE

SEATS WON BY BJP IN HARYANA AND J&K ELECTION WOULD QUANTIFY IT
Dr. Gyan Pathak - 2024-10-01 11:41
Lok Sabha Election 2024 results have shown a drastically declined political worth of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, that has quantified it with a BJP’s win of only 240 seats, much less than 303 it had won in 2019. Public opinions differ on the question if his personal political stature has been declining further – some believe in affirmative, some in negative, and some stable. Nevertheless, October 8, 2024 is set to quantify it when election results of Haryana and Jammu &Kashmir Vidhan Sabha will be out, and hence his political worth is once again at stake, the second time after June 4, when Lok Sabha election results were declared.

SUPREME COURT MUST CLEAR THE ISSUE ONCE FOR ALL TO AVOID CLASHES
Kalyani Shankar - 2024-09-30 11:53
When controversy and suspicion surround an innocuous sweet like Srivari Laddu sold by the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam, it does not stop there. It has gone much further in the past week and become a political weapon for Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu to beat his predecessor, Jagan Mohan Reddy. Other political parties like Congress and the BJP use it to their advantage. Some see it as a religious issue. Some others see it as a food quality issue. The spiritual leaders claim that Laddu is divine food and that contaminated Laddus should not be offered to the deity. The political row surrounding the Laddu highlights the delicate balance between politics, religion, food quality, and the public.

That is symptomatic of the country’s current mood of sadness and self doubt about the Chinese avowed programmes to whip up rabid xenophobic attitude throughout the country. The hate programme, had admittedly, aimed at the Japanese and the state media had spread canards about that nation.
