LUCKNOW: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP are working for Mission 2024 to achieve the target of getting more than 70 seats in Lok Sabha from Uttar Pradesh. Soon after taking over as chief minister for second time Yogi Adityanath announced programmes for his ministers with targets keeping in mind 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

There are two Indias. One outlined by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, and the other by over 100 ex-bureaucrats and ex-diplomats who wrote an open letter to the Prime Minister. And if S. The chief justice of India, N V Ramana, has stated in court that he would consider resuming the hearing of the petitions challenging the abrogation of Article 370 and the creation of two union territories by dismantling the state of Jammu & Kashmir in July, after the summer vacations.

The time of reckoning has finally come. The Supreme Court of India is to begin final hearing of petitions challenging sedition law on May 5, 2022, as the Apex Court has said on April 27, and would not entertain any request for any further adjournment of the matter. The three-judge Bench of the Supreme Court headed by the Chief Justice N V Ramana, which also included Justices Surya Kant and Justice Hima Kohli, has directed the Centre to file its response by the end of this week after hearing a batch of petitions challenging the constitutional validity of sedition law ie Section 124-A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Since CJI N V Ramana will be retiring on August 26, 2022, the final outcome of the case is expected before his retirement.
