The complex tri-nation food corridor requires the commitment and cooperation of all the partners and other related stakeholders as well. The corridor promises to contribute significantly to food security for the three countries and serve as a model for similar initiatives globally. The US is expected to benefit from its participation in the corridor as the country looks to bolster its strategic presence in Asia.

Centre is getting ready for an early roll out of the four labour codes while the joint platform of the 10 Central Trade Unions has threatened fresh nationwide agitation, including strike action, if the Union government goes ahead with its roll out plan. Union Ministry of Labour and Employment has been talking with the CTUs on early implementation of the labour codes, but differences still persist, because the joint platform of CTUs are sticking to their demand of repeal of the four labour codes.
