FARMERS ARE FIGHTING FOR UPHOLDING THE CONSTITUTION

CENTRE HAS NO RIGHT TO IMPOSE THREE FARM LAWS ON THE STATES
Prabhat Patnaik - 2021-01-22 09:45
In its systematic attempt to vilify the farmers’ movement against the three infamous agriculture bills that open peasant agriculture to corporate take-over, the government keeps using the argument that the opposition to these bills is confined to farmers only from a couple of states, that farmers from other states are happy with the bills. The falseness of this claim has been amply demonstrated, with the legislature in a state as far away as Kerala opposing these bills in a special session, and kisans in states like Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Maharashtra, and West Bengal, apart from Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh marching shoulder to shoulder with those opposing the bills. The claim that the opposition is confined only to a couple of states therefore is just a false red herring.

FARMERS MOVEMENT HAS IMPARTED A NEW MEANING TO OUR REPUBLIC

DETERMINATION OF AGITATORS HAS RATTLED THE MODI GOVERNMENT
Arun Srivastava - 2021-01-21 11:12
Just after four days the country will celebrate the birth of the republic. But this year’s celebration will be different from the carnival of yesteryears. While this time the celebration will miss a foreign celebrity, it would also be held under the shadow of the nearly two month old Satyagrah by the farmers of the country demanding scrapping of the three farm laws. Obviously it implies that nothing is good for the health of the great nation and its precious republic. Further, January 26, in 2021 after the dislocation in economy and social life for the last ten months due to pandemic and the consequent lock down in the country.

MVA’S BIG WIN IN MAHARASHTRA PANCHAYAT POLLS HAS A SIGNAL FOR 2024 POLLS

BJP CAN BE DEFEATED BADLY IF OPPOSITION PARTIES FIGHT UNITEDLY
Sushil Kutty - 2021-01-21 11:09
Lest we get confused over non-sequiturs, we’ll not talk about Mahatma Gandhi and ‘gram swaraj’ and ‘panchayat’ and blah blahblah... Instead we’ll speak of panchayat elections, the latest example of which is sure-shot ray of hope for the combined opposition arrayed against the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA): Narendra Modi and his sidekick Amit Shah, who carries a hefty wallop, can be defeated, flattened, if all opposition political parties get into a tight embrace and shoot the feet from under the ‘BhaktonKa Alliance.’
