Adenoids

Adenoids, also known as a pharyngeal tonsil or nasopharyngeal tonsil, are the enlarged lymphatic tissues between the back of the nose and the throat.

Infection in or swelling of the adenoids are known to be hindering speaking and breathing and also causing throat irritation, more often in young children.
