Adenovirus

Adenovirus is a term used in medicine for any of a group of DNA viruses. It derives its name from human adenoid tissue from which it was first discovered and isolated in 1953.

Most adenoviruses are known for causing respiratory diseases and can infect respiratory tract, eyes, intestines, and urinary tract.
