Adenosine is a term in biochemistry that refers to a compound consisting of adenine and ribose, which is used to treat a number of supraventricular tachycardia that do not improve with vagal maneuvers.It is one of the four nucleoside units in RNA - adenosine, guanosine, cytidine, and uridine.
