Aditi

Aditi, according to Hindu mythology, was daughter of Daksha, and wife of Kashyap. She is also known as mother of the gods. Her twelve sons are called Aditya, which means born of Aditi and had twenty-one other children. Thus, she had altogether 33 sons.

According to Ramayana, her sons agreed to marry Sura, the goddess of wine, who had came out of the Samudra Manthan churning of the milk-ocean. That is why her sons are called Sur.

From her thirty-three sons sprang thirty-three crores (330 million) of gods as per the Hindu mythology. Indra was the eldest among them and Vaman was the youngest one.
