Afranius

Afranius, full name Lucius Afranius, was a Latin comic poet who flourished 100 BC. "Afranius excelled in Roman-style comedies: if only he hadn't polluted his plots with unseemly sexual affairs with boys, confessing his own habits," wrote Quintilian (c. 35 – c. 100 AD), the Spanish-Roman teacher of rhetoric.
