Beak

Beak is a bird's bill, the horny projecting jaws. A similar projection of other animals, such as a turtle or squid is also called a beak. A similar projection at the prow of a warship resembling head of a bird or other animal is also called a beak. Such structures were used in ancient warships to pierce the hulls of enemy ships. Beak is also an informal term for a person's nose, especially the hooked one.
