Blackshirt

Blackshirt is a term used for a member of a fascist organisation. The term originated in the 1920s from the black colour of the Italian Fascist uniform. Not only a member of a parliamentary group founded by Mussolini in Italy was called a blackshirt, but also a member of the Schutzstaffel (SS) in Nazi Germany.
